| Description |  Nearly 1 million people visit the Arita Ceramic Bazaar during the week it is held. The 5-km main street with its approximately 650 shops is routinely filled with crowds of shoppers and sightseers out for a bargain as the expensive ceramics usually beyond reach of the normal shopper are reduced to bargain prices.
